The Winsted Fire Department operates a well-trained First Responder service, responding to all medical emergencies within our coverage area.

Ridgeview Ambulance Service of Waconia operates a Basic Life Support (BLS) unit, stationed in Winsted.

When a 911 call is made, both the BLS ambulance from Winsted and an Advanced Life Support (ALS) unit from a nearby community are dispatched.
